A spectacular landscape of towering, jagged cliffs plunging into emerald valleys and the blue expanse of the Pacific, the Na Pali Coast is inaccessible by car, so the best way to see it is from the water. Â

One of the fastest touring boats on Kauai, your catamaran offersÂ comfortable seating both inside and out, withÂ a mix of deck space and open-air cabins. Soak up the scenery as your captain takes you along the coast, and keep an eye out for marine life such as spinner dolphins, whales, and sea turtles. On board, enjoy provided drinks, appetizers, and a locally made buffet style dinner.Â

Expect to get wet, and bring a lightweight jacket. The landscape will change with the setting sun, as the slanting light bathes the cliffs in the rosy hues of sunset.

No expectant mothers.
Not recommended for individuals who have or have had back problems, recent injuries or surgeries, or suffer from severe motion sickness (no refunds are given for sea sickness). Seasickness is best prevented with an over the counter remedy.
This is an adventure. Ocean conditions can vary and may turn rough at times. It may not be suitable for some folks (all physically challenged individuals are subject to Captain’s discretion).
If you do not have your prescribed medication with you, i.e. Inhalers, EpiPens, diabetic medication and/or any other medications taken daily, you must reschedule your tour for another day.
Cancelled tours by Holo Holo Charters are fully refundable or gladly rescheduled.
“No shows” or any cancellation of reservations with less than 24-hour notice prior to check-in time is subject to a 100% charge of the total fare including tax.
Children must be at least 5 years old
Non-swimmers are not allowed in the water.
All tours are “Bare-Foot”. Passengers will remove their shoes prior to boarding. Only Orthopedic/Diabetic exceptions will be made at Captain’s direction.
You should bring your own towels, sunscreen, a light jacket, and camera. We will provide everything else.
Spray-on/aerosol sunscreen is a safety hazard and may not be used on board the vessel. We encourage using reef-friendly sunscreens.
No smoking of any kind on board the vessel or on the dock.
We do not land on shore.
Do not park at the harbor or pier. Please use Holo Holo parking lot only or your car will be towed.
We are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
We reserve the right to refuse service.
Drones/unmanned aircraft are not allowed on board the vessel.
Our vessels are equipped with sensitive marine heads (toilets) that will clog if any foreign objects are flushed. If you flush something other than what your body produces and the toilet paper we provide, you may be responsible for the cost of repair.
Alcohol will be served only after snorkeling. If passenger will be consuming alcoholic beverages an ID will be required on the vessel. No coolers allowed on board.
Full-face snorkel masks are not allowed, guests are required to use traditional two-piece snorkel and mask sets that are provided by us or they may bring their own.
Parties of 6 and up must contact Holo Holo a week in advance if needing to make cancellations or changes
In compliance with the Hawaii Safe Travels program, all guests must provide proof of a negative pre-travel COVID test or proper travel documentation to ensure the required 10-day quarantine requirements have been met.
Face masks are required for all guests and Holo Holo employees under local and Federal law for indoor spaces. Guests are required to bring their own face covering (face mask, bandana, face gaiter, etc.) and wear while in our office during check-in.
Guests are required to complete a digital health waiver as well as a COVID-19 health screening prior to proceeding on tour.

Had a wonderful time with the Holo Holo Company sailing the Napali Coast! Service on board was top notch. We never wanted for anything. The coastline is amazing and a must-do on Kauai. Only negative is the ride is way bumpier than most but they explain that fully in the tour description. Believe them when they warn you about sea sickness if you are susceptible. Highly recommend this activity!

The sunset cruise was so amazing! We saw stunning areas only accessible by boat. We also were visited by humpback whales and a few dolphins, which was such a thrill! We were provided pupus (appetizers), drinks, a delicious Hawaiian dinner and even dessert. The captain, Christian, and his mates, Jay and Lindsay, were so kind, funny and attentive. They even offered to take pics throughout the trip. The sunset cruise is not to be missed when in Kauai. Great pictures and beautiful memories!!!

The views were amazing, and the crew members were incredibly nice! However, I recommend taking this tour if you're used to boats. I've had my fair share of boating experiences in time waters, but the Na Pali coast in December is a different beast. I got mildly seasick for the first time here, but I genuinely appreciate the crew member who noticed immediately and helped me out. All in all though, it was an amazing experience that is totally worth the price!

Wonderful tour. Their high speed boat took way into the Nepali Coast. Farther than the sailboat charters. Crew was great and very helpful. Saw amazing views with good narration and stories. If you are in the south of Kauai, this is the tour for you!

The positive part of this review goes to the crew who were so friendly and helpful, and checked frequently to see if I had sea sickness. I appreciate their help very much. My main concern was with our captain, who discouraged mask usage by saying something like "mask usage is only imposed by the port officials and you can burn them once we leave the port". I understand that you would be a little less worried about the pandemic if you choose to do a tour during this time, but it also seemed to contradict all policies they sent in their communications. I was also a little disappointed that we turned back pretty early, right around the end of the Kalalau trail, instead of seeing more of the Na Pali coast. A little off-topic but the experience made me think hiking may be a better way to experience Na Pali. It puts you into scale with the massive cliffs and makes the scenery much more impressive. If you can't get a pass for the Kalalau trail there are also several trails in the Waimea canyon area that goes into the coast.

Great cruise! The staff was very friendly and informative, the ship was clean and good size and the route was stunning. Even though it got a bit choppy at points, captain Cole kept us informed and did a great job. Special shout out to Jay and Gabe, who kept serving food and drinks, took time to take pictures of us and also looked out for our safety. Plenty of drinks and food was provided and the Na Pali coast line is just the best. We’ll come back at some point!

Great navigation of the swells of the wild coast of Napali. Capt. Glenn and crew know what they're doing. Excellent sail up the coast, spotted some blue whales and dolphins. Food was decent, drink service was excellent. Crew kept coming around making sure we were well fed and hydrated.

This experience was incredible! From the views, to the meal (and apps) they served on the boat, to the captain and his team. It was so awesome! The team took such great care of us and always made sure we had a drink in hand and always asked if we were enjoying ourselves. Would do this excursion again in a heartbeat!
