Meet your accredited guide here where you will get all geared up, then head to Freshwater Bay County Park for your morning of sea kayaking.

Following your morning of sea kayaking and lunch, we'll then head to the Adventure Route section of the the Olympic Discovery Trail for a fun afternoon of swooping through the forest on our mountain bikes.

Your sea kayak adventure starts here, Freshwater Bay County Park, actually a saltwater bay is home to a plethora of marine wildlife and mesmerizing kelp forests. You'll be exploring the cliff laden shoreline for seastars, crab, barnacles, anemones, marine birds, keep your eyes open for otter families and other inhabitants that might just pop up and say hi.

Physical activity level: suitable for most people, tandem kayaks are provided when appropriate, bike trip is at your pace, bike trip is a mix of ups and downs, nothing more than a 7% grade
Recommended ages/experience level: ages 12 and older, the bike portion is comfortable for people who are confident riding on a 3 foot wide dirt trail with some exposure and tight corners, geared toward beginner kayakers and mountain bikers with a little experience, must be comfortable on a mountain bike
What to bring: nylon shorts, bathing suit, long sleeve non cotton hiking top, closed toe hiking or trail shoes for biking, camera, snacks/drinking water, sunglasses, facemask, any medical needs and towel

Our mountain biking tour ended up being a private tour! Chelsea was awesome and personalized the tour based on our abilities and interests.

Amazing time - great, super-friendly staff. We did a sea kayak tour and then mountain biked on the nearby trail. We had such a great time and the equipment was excellent. The staff though we’re the best. We even got great tips for hiking the next day. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Thank you!

What an amazing paddle with a great guide: Chelsea. She actively engaged the entire group and was so patient and knowledgeable. It felt more like paddling with an old pal! Lake Crescent was beautiful and the experience will stay with us for a long time. Thanks!

Our guide Krystal was amazing teaching us all the important information on kayaking. We had a great time and they provided wetsuits, shoes and jackets. We were worried that we were going to get soaked in that cold water.But with all the necessary gear we were more at ease….Then after kayaking we went mountain bike riding which I confused mountain bike riding with gravel riding. I thank God that He provided us with an awesome guide. I had no idea that you actually climb a mountain on your bike with a two or three foot trail. It was an adventure I can say “I have done that”.. Ou guide Tom was so helpful for me and my wife he explained the route to every detail. I am a cyclist therefore this was 100% change from what we are use to. If you like riding up a mountain I highly recommend this tour.

Had an incredible day with Adventures in Kayaking. Kicked off the day sea kayaking and had an amazing time. We were lucky our group were similarly skilled so it made it easy for all of us to explore and get the most out of it! Rounded out the day Mountain Biking with breathtaking views at the top and lots of fun in between. Our guides were knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to spend the day with. I will also add the crew at the shop were amazing, making sure everything was taken care of and our needs were met!

We had a ton of fun kayaking and mountain biking. Our guides were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This was our first time sea kayaking and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. We were fortunate enough to to see a ton of wildlife (bald eagles, sea stars, even a sea lion) on our kayak tour. The mountain bike tour was a blast and had some amazing views from beautiful trails. Adventures Through Kayaking made the whole day really easy and a lot of fun.

We only did the Kyak trip (no mountain bike)on Crescent Lake with Nina. The options did not allow for that trip alone. In any event, Nina was a marvelous guide. She was attentive to everyone on tour, sweet and a great conversationalist. The entire staff at Adentures of Kyak were the kindest people. Very friendly and extremely welcoming. I would definitely recommend this company as the place to go should you wish for a most enjoyable time kyaking.,

This was our second time doing this same tour. Sea Kayaking was wonderful. We got to see lots of wildlife and our guide (Krystal) was very knowledgeable and fun. We explored the coastline. Mountain biking was an adventure. We didn’t finish the whole ride but still had a great time. Our guide,Tom, was awesome and was very patient with us. Thanks for the wonderful adventure.
